The fleece personalized photo blanket I received from canvasdiscount.com arrived quickly. The ordering process was a little daunting at first, as it does have set metrics it will and will not allow when uploading a photo. I just don’t know what they are. But after contacting the company to make sure I wasn’t just doing something incorrectly, I was advised to reset my cache and try again. I also uploaded my selected photo to a photo editor and redownloaded the new version to my computer. The next time I tried to upload the picture of my choice it went through perfectly. So either new photo met the metrics or clearing the cache, it ended up working.
The photo I chose for this personalized blanket is of my great niece and nephew. I gifted this blanket to their mother, my niece. She absolutely LOVED the personal touch with her babies on the front of the blanket.
This fleece Photo Blanket is really large, yet very lightweight. The backside of the blanket is white. The edge is lined with a basic string border. The corners are rounded, but this is basically a print more than a blanket, but could still be used as a cover. Not really for warmth.
The image I sent them included a black border, the blanket did not have the border, but the inside dimension of the image instead. I was expecting it to have the black border, as the preview image on the screen and the preview image in my confirmation email both show it with the black trim/outline. Aside from this one little detail, I absolutely love how their faces came out and all the details of their facial features.
This blanket is such a perfect capture of a pure innocent moments we so often forget when our little’s are not so little anymore.
