Zhena’s Gypsy Tea
Giveaway Sponsored By: Zhena’s

Zhena's Gypsy Tea

I received a great assortment of Zhena’s Gypsy Tea to try out and host this great giveaway!

The selection of teas I received include, green teas, black teas, iced teas, hot teas, tea bags, loose leaf tea all in assorted flavors and strengths. All of the Zhena’s Gypsy Teas I received are gluten free, vegan, organic and fair trade products!

While I have not had a chance to try out all of the great teas Zhena’s sent, the ones I have had a chance to try are very flavorful and offer a lot of benefits.

I received two glass jars of loose tea. One was Papaya Marigold and the other is Lavender Lemonade. These teas are marked organic and also have a Fair Trade mark on them!

Both of these teas are from their Gourmet Red line. Coming in at a full 2 ounces, these jars hold 25 servings! 1 serving equals 2 teaspoons or 5 scoops. Each jar includes its own wooden spoon, attached at the rim of the jar, under the lid.

Zhena’s Gypsy Tea

I also received a great assortment Zhena’s tins filled with tea bags of varying flavors and health benefits!

Some of my favorites include Zhena’s Gypsy Tea stackable tin collections. These tins allow you to sample a variety of favorites from the same line. Such as their Harvest variety, that is perfect for the pumpkin season! They also sent me their Chai Tea Stackable and their Green Tea Stackable.

Zhena's Gypsy Tea

Of the 3 different varieties of stackable teas I received from Zhena’s Gypsy Tea, I would have to say my favorite would have to be the harvest blend. The moment I smelled the caramel Apple tea bags I think my mouth started salivating immediately.

It truly smells like a decadent sweet treat with a hint of black tea. I could not wait to try it out and it was the first tea from all of the ones I was sen,t that I tried. I later regretted it as there were only four tea bags in this canister and after all the bragging I did, everyone else wanted to try it too! I gave in and let them use two of the three bags I had left, and saved that last one for ME, for later!

Harvest Blend Includes:
Pumpkin Spice: Naturally caffeine-free, organic blend of superior South African Rooibos, flavored with sweet Madagascar vanilla beans, finished with the tasty tingle of cinnamon and ginger.
Caramel Apple: Caffeine-free, organic blend of superior South African Rooibos, paired with the natural sweetness of caramel and the intoxicating scent of cinnamon and clove.  << YUMMY!
Chocolate Truffle: Superior grade, caffeine-free organic Rooibos, blended with the sweet taste of Honeybush, then combined with Cocoa, the zest of ginger, orange peel, and cinnamon. Chicory, licorice root, and our blend of unique spices round out this delicious cup.
Cranberry Bliss: Caffeine-free blend of heart-healthy hibiscus, antioxidant-rich tart cranberries, warming cinnamon, elderberries, licorice, and allspice. Making for an enticing yet relaxing nighttime steep.

You can also find a good selection of Matcha Tea’s from Zhena’s. The ones I received were Coconut Matcha Green Tea: Fair Trade Green Tea, Orange Peel, Matcha, Natural Mandarin Flavor and Mandarin Matcha Green Tea: Fair Trade Green Tea, Orange Peel, Matcha, Natural Coconut Flavor!

Zhena's Gypsy Tea

I also received 5 great blends from Zhena’s Gypsy Tea Black Tea line. This set included Coconut Chai, Raspberry Earl, Hazelnut Chai, Gypsy Rose and Earl Greater Grey.

Black tea is my go to. I have tried many teas in my lifetime as I used to never drink coffee. I now drink coffee daily, but also still drink tea daily. I use coffee as more of a morning pick me up and I drink tea as a more relaxing beverage. I also like tea when it gets colder, where coffee I just can’t. Once it gets warm and is no longer hot, I just can’t drink it. But tea.. I can drink it hot, warm or even cold!

Speaking of cold tea, there is nothing I like more than I nice cold glass of iced tea on a hot summer day or just a quick thirst quencher and Zhena’s Gypsy Tea has that too!

Zhena's Gypsy Tea

The Zhena’s iced tea flavors I received were Vanilla Orange Iced Tea & Pomegranate Blueberry Iced Tea. The instructions for creating your ice tea are pretty much guidelines.

Zhena’s Tea offers some great suggestions for preparing and enjoying your tea’s but the final outcome is really a matter of person preference and can be attained by simply trying out the different methods yourself and find the one you like best!

Zhena’s Gypsy Tea guidelines to get you started:

Black Tea can be brewed in truly boiling water, usually steeped for 3-5 minutes.

Green Tea should be brewed with water between 160-175F and only steeped for 2-4 minutes.

White Tea can be brewed a bit warmer, at 175F and steeped for 3-5 minutes.

Oolong Tea is best brewed at 190F, but steeped longer than black tea for 5-8 minutes.

Rooibos Tea can also be brewed in fully boiling water and steeped indefinitely.

Herbal Infusions come in so many varieties that there can be no specific guidelines, but you can generally start with boiling water and a 5 minute steep.

Win a 1 year supply of Zhena’s Gypsy Tea

Winner will receive a 1 year supply of Zhena’s Gypsy Tea in the form of: 4 tins of assorted tea, 4 assorted flavors of 100 count bags of tea and one loose leaf tea infuser.

Tea Knowledge: The tea plant, a shrub-like evergreen, called Camellia sinensis, is grown in climates that provide a combination of both hot and cool temperatures. In addition to climate, the plant requires at least 50 inches of rainfall a year, and prefers acidic soils. Many high quality tea plants grow at elevations up to 5,000 feet, where the plants grow more slowly and acquire a better flavor. Only the top one to two inches of the mature plant are plucked for tea. These buds and leaves are called flushes, and a plant will grow a new flush every seven to ten days during the growing season. >>Read More HERE<<
