I received the Pink Zebra Simmer Pot with two scents to review.
The Wax Melt scents I received were:
Coffee Buzz: Smells like dredged brewed coffee. Made me want to drink it. Honestly once I took a sip of my real coffee I was almost slightly irritated that it didn’t taste like I was smelling. That’s how good these wax melts smell!!
Grape Popsicle: This wax melt smells exactly like grape bubble yum bubble gum. Which by the way is one of my favorites as far as bubble gum goes. It left me feeling almost nostalgic bringing back memories of having bubble gum blowing contest with my siblings and cousins. My husband even made a comment that I seemed pretty chipper that day.
I honestly have to say I believe wholeheartedly in aroma therapy and how it can effect a persons mood but I was pleasantly surprised with how well these candle melts work for the aroma therapy factor.
Neither scent smelled like a candle. You could smell the scent but not the wax. Even when
we shut the warmer off for a while I half expected to at least smell the wax as the scent dissipated and the wax cooled but it never happened and the scent lingered quite a while after the cooling process.
The one thing I loved about the warmer I received was how it didn’t emanate a dangerous amount of heat. It was warm to the touch but I had no fear of burning my hands. I also loved how you can pop the warmer bowl into the freezer and within a few seconds to a minute you can pop out the wax melt you were using, set the simmer pot back on the warmer base, and start all over with another scent.
I simply put my used melt in a re-closeable zipper baggie and threw it in the fridge till the next time I wanted to use that scent.
This easy simple process makes using and utilizing the melts and warmers a breeze and gives you the option of using every last drop.
After I had switched out the melts I got to wondering if I put the already used wax melt back in the warmer, would it still smell the same?
So that’s what I did. I switched them out again and it was a
s if I had sprinkled fresh never used melts into the bowl. Smelled the same. Melted just as easy, and through the process of switching scents never had a point where it seemed the two were mixing.
