I had a lot of fun coloring these blank holiday coloring cards, and even got my Aunt in on the action.
With 6 different designs to choose from, it was hard deciding which Christmas card I wanted to color first and ended up coloring 3 at the same time, while my Aunt diligently and delicately worked on one.
I started out working on the Christmas Tree scene and she started working on the three snowmen scene. First I just want to say the images on the Christmas cards are adorable! While the lines are super thin, compared to what you would see in a child’s coloring book, the detail on some of these coloring cards was outstanding.
I’m a lover of all things art and coloring is no exception. I pulled out the crayons, colored pencils, markers and gel pens. I love using mixed coloring tools as I think it gives it a totally different look.
I had no problem using any of these on the cards. The markers and pens did not soak through to the other side and the paper did not absorb so much that the colors dulled. This is the first thing I noticed and loved about these holiday coloring cards.
These Christmas coloring cards are slightly smaller than what I would call a standard size card, more along the line of an invite card, which makes sense since they’re created by The Invite Lady!
These cards are nice. The paper they are printed on is pretty heavy duty card-stock, they look and feel just like something I would buy from the store. The image is clean and has no broken lines in the drawing. Thick enough to withstand markers and other ink. Smooth enough for crayons and colored pencils to glide across easily, yet gives enough for the people like me who have a heavy hand when coloring or drawing.
Overall I enjoyed the time I spent with my Aunt, and actually ended up liking her coloring card the best! I plan on having the rest of these at our annual Christmas cookie party I host for the kids in the family, as we also do crafts and other activities. I try to have small gifts and cards that the kids can make up for anyone they want. I see these blank holiday coloring cards being a huge hit!
