#EnterToWin @Purex plus Clorox 2 Stain Fighting Detergent! ~ #Giveaway! #PurexPlusClorox2 #SocialInsiders #Spon

Purex® plus Clorox 2®

NEW Purex® plus Clorox 2® detergent combines Purex® DirtLift™ power w/ an extra boost from Clorox 2®

Having a husband who works as a machinist, and raising kids who love to be outdoors, I have come across some of the worst stains ever. From oil and chemical dyes from my husbands work, to blood, sap, and natural dyes like grass and pollen, I can’t even begin to tell you my worst. I do know the oil based stains seemed to be hardest to get out, and using a bleach or other harsh chemical either wears your clothing out faster or is not safe for your colors. Purex® plus Clorox 2® has the added dirt lifting power Purex is known for as well as the color safe Clorox 2 to get the tougher, oil based stains easily and since there is no bleach its safer on your fabric. I have been a huge fan of Purex most of my adult life. Its a brand I trust and personally use. My personal use of Purex is actually what got me involved with the Purex Insiders program, which allows me to offer these great giveaways.

Recently my gram moved in with me and she has extremely thin skin. Seems she is always getting a nick here or there or catching herself on something. She likes using white sheets or light colored pastels. I try to change out and wash her sheets every couple days because she also has very dry skin and I feel like it flakes off while she’s sleeping, and after a couple days just feel like it needs done, but anyways, there is almost always little spots of blood. Sometimes she will tell me and I will get to it right away, but sometimes she doesn’t even notice and I don’t see it till I go to take all her bedding off. I usually use an oxy stick to pre-treat any kind of blood or other stains, no matter what detergent I use or if it has oxy in it or not, but this last time, I decided to see if I could use the Purex plus Clorox 2 to pretreat it then wash. These sheets were a light blue, so I didn’t want to use a bleach and I honestly wanted to see if it would wash out in the wash. Well, I didn’t even get it in the wash. Simply putting a few drops of the Purex plus Clorox2 and rubbing the fabric together to get it into the stain was enough. It had almost taken the stain out and I hadn’t even made it to the washing machine yet. I proceeded to wash as normal and when it was all done, the little blood spots were all gone. Next time I wash her sheets, I am going to try and remember to not pretreat with anything to see if they come out easily or not. Usually they leave a little light brownish colored stain if I don’t pre-treat and even sometimes when I do, if it’s been awhile or I missed it the first time, there was no hint of color or any indication there was ever any kind of stain there to begin with. This is one major reason I am a huge fan of Purex. Even when you don’t have time to pre-treat or mess with sorting, such as separating colors for my husbands work clothes, I can still count on the stains being removed without bleach or other additives. Purex plus Clorox 2 seems to be the trick.

  24. Donna Cheatle

Some of the worst stains I’ve ever dealt with have been on my hubby’s clothes. He does a lot of work in the garden once Spring arrives. I swear he’s got to be rolling around in the dirt! Our soil has a lot of clay in it, so it’s taken him a number of years to get the soil in good condition to grow great food. That translates to a lot of stains over the years, lol
