Pocket Chainsaw & Firestarter Emergency Kit

SUMPRI Camping Survival Gear

** Would definitely recommend the use of safety glasses and even a hard hat. My husband learns the hard way! Good thing these were just small practice limbs!

Watch video to see his first impressions and final thoughts on the pocket chainsaw!

36 Inch Pocket Chainsaw & Firestarter Emergency Kit

Package include 36in pocket hand saw, chainsaw, a magnesium rod for starting fires, emergency whistle and carry bag for easy portability.

My husband has used this multiple times around our yard in the last couple months and absolutely loves the pocket chainsaw.

He has taken the advice of a few other users and attached a rope to the handles for higher to reach areas and has remarked at how he wishes he would have had something like this a few years ago.

Its small, portable and very efficient at cutting live branches from hard or awkward areas.

I need to get this emergency kit. Sounds pretty useful, I know that my family could use it.

  6. I have always heard to cut the dry branches from a tree to start the quickest fire. I am guessing they are the driest.

  7. I’m not an outdoorsy kind of girl but this would be great for our GS trips. Maybe even as a just in case.

How neat. My husband can use one of these. He’s more into being outdoors than I am.

  8. My husband would love to have one of these even though we now live in an apartment so no trees. We used to have a big yard full of trees and this would have come in handy!

  9. This would be handy to have. My other half would use this around our backyard for some of the trees we have.

  10. Well that is definitely interesting! I did not know there was such thing as a portable chainsaw. That’s kind of neat. I think my husband would love something like this.

We are not outdoorsy people at all, but this would still be handy to have. You just never know.
